VK Evaporative Air Cooler
In the VK closed circuit evaporative air cooler water flows through a coil system and represents the primary circuit. The recirculated water for wetting the coil system evaporates and forms the so-called secondary circuit. These units are employed where clean water is used as cooling water.
Requirements:
- greater demands on the quality of the cooling water
- water-sided maintenance/cleaning is limited to cooling tower part
- antifreeze, brine or temperature above 70°C present in the cooling water
Areas of use:
- in the open
- on top floors
- in high rooms
Your benefit:
-
li>hardly any sedimentation
- cleaning of cooling water at considerably longer operating intervals
- hardly any corrosion in the cooling water circuit
- if necessary, the secondary circuit can be switched off during the cooler periods of the year (operation by air cooling only)
- fog can be avoided by fin attachment
- for greater output, savings can be achieved by switching smaller units in sequence
- compact design
- enclosed area is not necessary
